COVID-19 update on VRBQ Operations

To support the ongoing efforts to minimise the spread of COVID-19, the Valuers Registration Board of Queensland has closed its physical office and staff are working from home. We are still offering our normal support and services via email admin@vrbq.qld.gov.au and the normal office phone line 07 3221 3892, so please do not hesitate to contact us if we can assist you in any way. The Board recognises the impact that COVID-19 is having on valuers and their families, and the high levels of uncertainty in the market. For those that they may experiencing financial hardship and wish to discuss their options regarding renewing their valuer registration, please contact Ian McEwan, Secretary to the Board, to discuss. In accordance with the Board’s Complaint and Disciplinary Proceedings Policy and Procedure, disciplinary decisions including a valuer’s name may not be published or remain on a valuer’s record indefinitely. If you have concerns regarding a previous finding, you are encouraged to refer to the Board’s disciplinary decisions, review QCAT and Court decisions, and/or discuss your concerns with the valuer.
